The Port of Skagit invites the public to enjoy the recreational opportunities unique to each of our properties. Ride your bike or walk your dog along our 10+ miles of well-maintained nature trails. Book a scenic flight with one of our airport businesses. Pack up your motorhome and spend the weekend at the La Conner Marina RV Park. Register for a baking class, flight instruction, or agricultural workshop. There’s so much to do, see, learn and enjoy at the Port of Skagit.
La Conner Marina is a popular destination for Puget Sound recreational boaters. The Marina offers 2,400 linear feet of guest dock space, great customer service and a variety of amenities. Plus, it’s a beautiful two-hour cruise to the heart of the San Juan Islands.

Scenic flights and flight instruction at the airport
Whether you are interested in flight instruction or booking a scenic flight, there are opportunities for both at Skagit Regional Airport. Either way, you will enjoy unmatched views of the Salish Sea, San Juan Islands, Cascade Mountains and Skagit Valley.
Enjoy an interactive experience for children and adults, as you read a story as you walk.
Pages from the children’s book “Scoot,” by Cathryn Falwell, have been reproduced on signs along a section of the the Port’s nature trails, in order to promote early literacy practices and healthy lifestyle activities.

Heritage Flight Museum
Founded by Apollo 8 astronaut William Anders, the Heritage Flight Museum is home to vintage aircraft, exhibits and displays that tell the stories of spaceflight and military aviation.
The Heritage Flight Museum’s historic collection of aircraft, vehicles, artifacts, photographs, and exhibits provide visitors with the opportunity to learn about the history of military aviation and spaceflight.

Take a Class
There are a number of opportunities to learn and explore new things at the Port of Skagit.
The picturesque nature trails wind through the woods and wetlands around the Bayview Business Park and Skagit Regional Airport. Trails maps are available to help plan your route, or simply discover your journey as you go. Bicyclists, walkers, runners and pets on leash are all welcome.

The La Conner Marina is a great destination, whether you are a boater, camper, or you simply appreciate the charm of this quaint historic town.
Guests of the La Conner Marina and our RV Park can walk to downtown along boardwalk overlooking the Swinomish Channel or explore other areas of the town, including parks, museums or seasonal festivals.
