The vision of the SWIFT Center is to create a hub of innovation and technology. The Port of Skagit is working to identify partnership and redevelop this property into a destination mixed use campus accommodating education, research and development, manufacturing, hospitality and commercial venues, all within the historic character and great public spaces of the Center.

Maintenance Responsibilities

SWIFT Business Advisory Group

A SWIFT Center Business Advisory Council is advising the Port on how to best meet the vision for the campus redevelopment. This group, formed in 2018, will help identify and evaluate different business opportunities, to ensure SWIFT Center’s full potential is realized.

As a National Register Historic District, design guidelines were created to summarize the design considerations and approval process for physical changes to the campus.
