DESCRIPTION:The Port of Skagit and the Skagit County Historical Museum are proud to present our fourth public history event at the former Northern State Hospital. \n  \nHear from speakers who worked and lived at Northern State\, learn the history\, purchase books at the book table\, take a self-guided outdoor walking tour\, write a memory on the memorial wall\, and more! This year\, we’ll again be offering a tour inside the Colman Ward for a limited number of participants. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first ever Music in the Park @ SWIFT!  This FREE family-friendly event will feature food\, beer garden area\, a beautiful setting and two amazing musical performances by: \n  \nBenny Sidelinger\nFriends for the Ghost\n  \nBring your lawn chairs\, bring your friends and family\, and spend the summer evening enjoying some incredible entertainment at the picturesque SWIFT Center\, the former Northern State Hospital campus. \n  \nClick HERE to visit the event page with more details!\nClick HERE to view the event promotional video with our featured musicians!\n  \nMusic in the Park @ SWIFT begins at 5:30pm and will take place in a grassy area on the east end of the campus off Thompson Drive.  (Use the Fruitdale Road entrance to the campus\, go to Thompson Drive and follow the signs for parking).  The event will feature food and drink offerings from True North Bakery as well as a beer garden area operated by the Tipsy Trailer featuring beverages from Chuckanut Brewery and Garden Path Fermentation. \n  \nThe Music in the Park @ SWIFT event follows the 4th Annual NSH Public History Day hosted by Skagit County Historical Museum earlier that same day.
